What is Pro Tools?

To use Pro Tools software, you need an iLok USB dongle that acts as a security key to prevent piracy. You can also choose to use the iLok cloud version. By all accounts iLok totally sucks! Hopefully one day someone will come to their senses and allow Pro Tools to be authorized to your computer like every other iLok. 

Subscription Model

Avid offers subscription plans for users who prefer not to purchase the software outright. This model provides continuous updates and support while offering flexibility in terms of cost efficiency for those who may not require all the features of the full version. By all accounts subscriptions totally suck!  Hopefully one day everybody will come to their senses and the subscription model will die a triumphant death.
